AA Insurance recognised by Canstar for outstanding home insurance claims experience
AA Insurance has been awarded Canstar's Most Satisfied Customers, Home Insurance Claims Award, recognising the insurer's commitment to delivering an exceptional claims experience.
In announcing the award, Canstar said AA Insurance customers gave the insurer the maximum possible scores across all five categories, placing it ahead of every other eligible brand in the research.
Simon Hobbs, Chief Claims Officer at AA Insurance, says the award belongs to the people who show up for customers every day.
"Claims are our moments of truth. They're a chance to make a real difference in someone's life when things haven't gone right, and it's fantastic to see our people recognised for the support, care and expertise they bring during what can be a really difficult time.
This result says our teams listened, and they got on with putting things right. I couldn't be prouder of our Home Claims teams and everyone who supports them," says Hobbs.
The award is based on research conducted by Canstar among New Zealanders who had made a home or contents insurance claim with some of the country's largest insurance brands. Customers were asked to rate their insurer across five key areas of the claims journey: communication, ease of lodging a claim, claims process, quality of repair or replacement, and timeliness of repair or replacement.
The recognition follows AA Insurance's previous Canstar award for Most Satisfied Customers, Car Insurance Claims, highlighting the insurer's consistently strong claims performance.
